Tired of wrapping the same old socks and ties? Why not give the gift of art this Christmas?

Come along to our annual festive Arts and Craft Fair on Sat 1 December, 10.30am – 5.00pm and Sun 2 December, 11.00am – 4.00pm to get all your Christmas shopping out of the way before the stress of the season really hits.

Alongside cheerful tunes, a holly-jolly atmosphere and festive treats from Seasons Café and local artisan food stalls, we’ve already done the hard work for you. So delight your family and friends this year with unique handmade wares from some of our favourite local artists, crafters, designers and makers, including:

The Peahen’s Nest:

Are your selfies with your four-legged friends losing their sparkle? Claire Heapy specialises in portraits – for both you and your pets. The artist will be showcasing her Miniature Oil Painting examples and taking orders to turn your favourite photographs into painted masterpieces. Claire will also be selling limited edition Christmas cards from her Pets Undo Christmas series.

Where and when? Table 14, in the Education Studio, Sunday only.

Pepper Pots Pottery:

Rivalling the ever-so-delicately painted ceramics from your children’s art classes, these peppered plates and bowls are the perfect finishing touch for all your festive feasts. What’s that? All your crockery has accidentally-on-purpose been knocked over and broken so you need a whole new set? Jazz up your dining table with these beautiful works of art.

Where and when? Table 21, in the Ambassador Room, Saturday and Sunday.

Stephanie Wilkinson Art:

From gorgeous vegan suede cushions to colourful coasters and placemats inspired by Brazil, Stephanie Wilkinson knows how to brighten up even the darkest of wintery days. Brand new to the collection, Stephanie will be introducing a selection of gift-wrapped silver-plated pendants detailing her own art and uniquely-sourced beads.
