Andrew Graham-Dixon: The Art of Constable

Join Andrew Graham-Dixon for this exclusive fundraising talk, which will consider the life and work of John Constable. Andrew is one of the leading art critics and art presenters in the English-speaking world and is an expert on the art of Constable. He has published a weekly broadsheet column on art for over twenty years and has written a number of highly acclaimed books. Andrew has also presented numerous landmark series on art for the BBC including ‘A History of British Art’, ‘Art of Eternity’ and ‘Secret Lives of Artists: Constable in Love’. This very special talk will take place in our Main Gallery against the backdrop of the ‘John Constable: Observing the Weather’ exhibition.

Advance booking required. Talks last for approximately 45 minutes with a short time for questions. Refunds will only be given up to 14 days prior to the event.

The price includes champagne and canapés which will be served before the talk. All proceeds will go to ‘Art in Mind’ - a programme of monthly art workshops for people living with dementia and their carers.
