Bergamasca will be performing over three dates in June and July at selected venues across Surrey. All proceeds collected will be distributed to the Community Foundation for Surrey, The Lightbox and Cherry Trees charities.
Ensemble Bergamasca brings together three talented instrumentalists specialising in early music. Katriina Boosey, Frances Eustace and Lynda Sayce incorporate their impressive collection of wind and string instruments into a historical trawl through the baroque era. Their concerts are a unique opportunity to hear stunning 17th and 18th century music played on the long-necked theorbo, the extraordinary curtal, various sizes of viols, lutes and recorders and even medieval bagpipes!
