Exploring ‘Much Ado About Nothing’

2016 marks the 400th anniversary of the death of the world’s most celebrated playwright – William Shakespeare, and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ is one of his most-loved comedies. At its core is the irrepressible double-act of Beatrice and Benedick, two of his most cherished characters, who have sworn never to fall in love. Their scenes sparkle with wit and word-play and we love them! Could they be Shakespeare's most 'real' creations? Ahead of the company's open-air production this July, Guildford Shakespeare Company Co-Founder Matt Pinches examines this most effervescent of romantic comedies.

Advance booking required. Talks last for approximately 45 minutes with a short time for questions.
