Film Nights: Mr Turner

Film fans are in for a treat as we launch new Film Nights @ The Lightbox which will run every 2nd Thursday of the month. In keeping with our 10th anniversary celebrations, the theme of the first season is ‘a decade of Great British Cinema’ from 2007 to the present day.

This month's screening is Mr. Turner(2014):

An exploration of the last quarter century of the great, if eccentric, British painter J.M.W. Turner's life.

Starring: Timothy Spall, Paul Jesson, Dortothy Atkinson

Directed by: Mike Leigh

Attendees are invited to come early for dinner and a drink in Seasons café which will be serving a delicious tapas menu on film nights. Guests can also browse in the Shop or the galleries before making your way upstairs for the 8.00pm screening.
