Film fans are in for a treat as we launch new Film Nights @ The Lightbox which will run every 2nd Thursday of the month. In keeping with our 10th anniversary celebrations, the theme of the first season is ‘a decade of Great British Cinema’ from 2007 to the present day.
This month's screening is The Legend of Barney Thomson (2015):
This film tells the story of Barney Thomson, an awkward, diffident Glasgow barber, who lives a life of desperate mediocrity. However, his uninteresting life is about to go from 0 to 60 in five seconds, as he enters the grotesque and comically absurd world of a serial killer.
Starring: Robert Carlyle, Emma Thompson, Ray Winstone
Directed by: Robert Carlyle
Attendees are invited to come early for dinner and a drink in the new Seasons café which will be serving a delicious tapas menu on film nights. Guests can also browse in the Shop or the galleries before making your way upstairs for the 8.00pm screening.
Advance booking required.
