Hannah Peschar Garden

Join The Lightbox Friends fopr a visit to Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden on Wed May 16 2018.

The Sculpture Garden was the brainchild of owner and curator Hannah Peschar 35 years ago, and has grown from a handful of sculptures to over 200 pieces exhibited every summer.

The Garden used to be part of a large estate, laid out between 1915 and 1920. Later it was split up and sold in several lots; leaving the 15th Century, grade 2 listed cottage with ten acres of land including a large water and rock garden. Over the past 40 years the garden has been redesigned and replanted by award-winning landscape designer Anthony Paul.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival at the Garden. After morning coffee, there will a guided tour of the garden and then free time to explore. Friends need to bring their own lunch with them.

A coach will leave Goldsworth Recreation Ground Car Park, Wishbone Way, Woking at 9.15am and leave the Garden at 3pm to return to Woking, The visit is limited to 30 people, and booking will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
