Join art historian Siân Walters as she explores the fascinating relationship between painters such as Monet, Pissarro, Degas and Renoir and the pivotal art dealer and entrepreneur Paul Durand-Ruel. Now considered the father of the international art market, he worked tirelessly from 1891-1922 to buy and sell masterpieces which at the time were ridiculed and misunderstood. Siân Walters lectures for the National Gallery, The Arts Society and The Wallace Collection and runs Art History in Focus.

Impressionism: The Art of Life will be open with free entry from 5pm - 8.30pm.
