Making Art Work: From blueprint to final product

The Mike Smith Studio has been making contemporary works of art, design and architecture since 1989, collaborating with such artists as Damien Hirst, Mark Wallinger, Gavin Turk and Jake and Dinos Chapman as well as organisations such as the Natural History Museum, Channel 4, Tate Britain, the Fourth Plinth at Trafalgar Square and the Barbican.  Using the company archive, Director Mike Smith will explore some of these remarkable and experimental works and reveal the collaborative processes behind them, working as he has with artists, architects, designers, and museums as well as structural engineers and developers.
