Since 1922 the Poppy Factory has been making poppies, wreaths and crosses for use in remembrance of the people who have served the country in times of war. But it is much more than a factory providing work and support for injured servicemen and women. It promises to be a most interesting visit. The visit starts at 10.30am with tea and coffee followed by a guided tour of the factory.
The visit is limited to 24 places and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
A bus will leave from Goldsworth Park Recreation Ground Car Park, Wishbone Way, Woking at 9.15pm and will leave to return to Woking at 12.30pm.
This event has now closed.
