Sidney Francis: A Life through a Lens

Inspired by the exhibition 'Photographs around Woking: Sidney Francis in the 1920s and 1930s', Jill Hyams, Archivist at The Surrey History Centre, and Peter Hall, Exhibitions Manager at The Lightbox, will explore the work of freelance reporter and newspaper photographer Sidney Francis (1891-1973), discussing the places, people and festivities which he captured.

Advance booking required. Talks last for approximately 45 minutes with a short time for questions. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the talk. Drinks are available to purchase.
