Sidney Francis: A Life through a Lens

Inspired by the exhibition Sidney Francis: Photographs of Woking in the 1920s & 1930s, explore the work of freelance reporter and newspaper photographer Sidney Francis (1891-1973), and learn more about the places, people and festivities which he captured.

Jill Hyams, Archivist at the Surrey History Centre, will be in conversation with Peter Hall, Exhibitions Manager at The Lightbox.

Advance booking required. Talks last for approximately 45 minutes with a short time for questions. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the talk. Drinks are available to purchase.
