The Ruth Borchard Story

Richard Borchard joins Dr Robert Travers for this fascinating talk that will explore a childhood and an upbringing in the context of a mother with a life-long passion for collecting. Ruth Borchard amassed one of the finest twentieth century collections of British self-portraiture in the country, capturing the ideas of a whole generation of artists. Dr Robert Travers runs London gallery Piano Nobile which manages the Ruth Borchard Collection on behalf of the family.

Advance booking required. Talks last for approximately 45 minutes with a short time for questions. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of the evening talks. Wine and juice are available to purchase at evening talks.
