True and naked work:

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances this talk has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Batterham is a towering figure in British studio pottery.  His pots, like Bernard Leach’s before him, are influenced by Korean and English medieval pottery.  His work has an unmistakable personal signature.  It has been called ‘warm in spirit, fresh and eminently tactile’.  Professor Simon Olding - writer, curator and Director of the Crafts Study Centre, University for the Creative Arts – will discuss the life and work of one of Britain’s most eminent potters.

Thursday 21 May 2015, 7.00pm

Advance booking required. Talks last for approximately 45 minutes with a short time for questions. Doors open 30 minutes befroe the start of the evening talks. Wine and juice are available to purchase at the evening talks.
