War of the Worlds Print Workshop

This activity runs in conjunction with the current exhibition of works from Woking Borough Council’s editioned prints project commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of novelist HG Wells so the theme for this second workshop draws on the brief for the exhibition – HG Well’s book War of the Worlds - with the opportunity to screenprint your own Martian or monoprint a creature from outer space!

Join in the fun as Ochre Print Studio brings printmaking to The Lightbox for the day.

The session is open to visitors of all ages and abilities; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Saturday 16 April 2016, 12pm - 3pm.

Free entry | Suggested donation £2

This workshop follows an earlier free drop-in woodcut printing demonstration for all ages by professional artist and printer, Gerry Baptist from 11am - 12pm on the same day.
