Jacky Klein is an art historian, writer and publisher. She worked as a curator at the Tate, Barbican, Courtauld and Hayward galleries in London, before moving into art publishing, as Commissioning Editor at Thames & Hudson and Phaidon Press, and now as Executive Editor at Tate Publishing. Her own books include the first complete monograph on Grayson Perry (Thames & Hudson, 2009; revised and expanded 2013), and What is Contemporary Art? A Children's Guide (2012). She is an occasional reporter for BBC Radio 3's Free Thinking, makes short films for the Art Fund, and lectures widely on modern and contemporary art. She is a Trustee of a number of arts and culture organisations including Culture24 and the UK Association of Art Historians.
