Gerry is a member of The Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and does all kinds of printmaking, etching, screenprinting, digital and woodcuts. He exhibits widely and has given demonstrations at various venues including Bankside Gallery in London. Gerry has also given demonstrations and has taught woodcut printmaking at Ochre Print Studio in Guildford. He will show you how he prints an image, which was exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition a couple of years ago and will also give visitors an opportunity to make their own print, which they can take away with them, using a wood block which Gerry cut, based on a drawing by his grand-daughter Georgia.
Join in the fun as Ochre Print Studio brings printmaking to The Lightbox for the day.
This session is open to visitors of all ages and abilities; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Saturday 16 April 2016, 11.00am - 12.00pm.
Free entry | Suggested donation £2
