Collections Intern
2 days a week on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for a 3 month period.
This is an opportunity for someone seeking practical experience in the arts and heritage sector. You will gain experience of how to apply collections management techniques to a museum based historical collection. The collection is formed of a wide variety of objects of national and local significance relating to the diverse history of Woking which dates to the 12th century.
Based between our busy office, on-site research room and off-site collections store you will provide support in the Exhibition and Collections departments and will be involved in the day to day running of our popular museum and gallery. You will work closely with both staff and volunteers.
