Education
Learning at The Lightbox
The Lightbox has been running award-winning education programmes since 1997. We work with artists, schools and community groups to provide inspiring creative activities for all ages and abilities.

The Lightbox welcomes bookings from school groups to visit Woking's Story, a permanent exhibition that tells the history of Woking through displays that include objects, photos, maps, videos and oral histories from Woking Residents. The building also has two temporary galleries with changing exhibitions, an interactive display on the environment and an education studio where visiting groups can take part in hands on creative workshops. To find out more about school visits to The Lightbox, please click on the link below.
Our Learning team has also developed an exciting collection of Loan Boxes. These are available for schools and other community groups to borrow. To find out more, please click on the link below.
If you would like to join our schools mailing list please send your name, school and address to education@thelightbox.org.uk or contact our Education Team on 01483 737815.
