Loan Boxes
The Lightbox has a collection of loan boxes, which schools, community groups and youth groups can borrow. There are two types of loan box - Art and Design Boxes and History Boxes. The boxes can help to develop creative thinking and investigative skills. To find out more, please click on the links below.

All of the loan boxes contain interesting objects to handle and use. Most include suggested activities for teachers and group leaders and some even have photos and audio recordings in them.
Loan boxes are available for a fee of £18 (including VAT) per three week loan. A deposit of £25 is required and will be refunded when the box has been returned and checked.
