Activities for School Groups


Activity sessions for school groups will last approximately two hours each and include a hands on creative workshop in our education studio and a visit to the relevant exhibition. Some of the topics available are outlined below, but we are also able to work with schools to develop special programmes. The Ingram Collection of Modern British Art

£70 per session

The Lightbox is home to The Ingram Collection of Modern British Art and hosts changing exhibitions of work from this collection. Please contact the Education department for more details of works currently on show. Participants will take part in gallery activities focusing on 2D or 3D artworks from The Ingram Collection and take part in a creative workshop to make something to take home with them. Suitable for students of all ages.

The Tudors in Woking

£70 per session.

Handle objects found on the site of Woking Palace, a hunting lodge visited by Henry VIII, and take part in a Tudor themed creative activity in the Education Studio.

World War II in Woking

£70 per session.

Learn about what life was like in Woking during World War II and take part in a WWII themed workshop activity.
