An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant to join the small but busy Marketing Team to assist with promoting and raising awareness about The Lightbox through effective delivery of the Marketing and PR strategies and campaigns.
The successful candidate will have experience generating media leads and will be required to take publicity photographs, provide weekly columns and event listings for press, online directories and national listings and gather press generated for a monthly report. Marketing duties include creation and design of all in-house marketing literature under the guidance of the Marketing and Communications Officer and Marketing and Audience Development Manager.
Responsibility for audience research projects will also be required, which may include data collation from exhibition and visitor questionnaires. There will be a requirement to become familiar with the new CRM system Raisers Edge NXT and to support the department with various administrative data related administration. There will also be the expectation to liaise with other departments and to act as a ‘Brand Ambassador’ for the organisation, ensuring that all marketing materials are consistent with brand guidelines and executed with excellence.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with occasional evenings and weekends for which time off in lieu is given
Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 per annum depending on experience
Reports to: Marketing and Audience Development Manager
