Friends Events

Organised by The Friends of The Lightbox, enjoy a series of exciting lectures.

• Thurs 19 November - Favourite Pieces from The Ingram Collection. Chris Ingram will give a talk about some of his favourtie pieces from the Ingram Collection. £2 Friends, £3 Guests of Friends or £10 for lecture plus tour of the collection.
• Thurs 4 February - The History of Hallmarking. GIll Washington, Lightbox Trustee and silversmith will explore the role of the Goldsmiths' Company. £2 Friends, £3 Guests of Friends.
• Thurs 4 March - Deans and the Arts. The Very Reverand Victor Stock Dean of Guildford will give a talk on the relationship between Deans and the Arts. £2 Friends, £3 Guests of Friends.
  
• Thurs 15 April - The History of the Royal Holloway College, its Founder and The Picture Gallery. Rosamund Reid will talk about some of the important paintings in the Royal Holloway Collection. (A visit to Royal Holloway will be arranged when the collection reopents to the public. £2 Friends, £3 Guests of Friends.
