The Lightbox has been working with York Road Project annually since 2012 to deliver a series of creative workshops which culminate in an exhibition for their clients.
This year the clients chose to focus on the theme of Judgement by creating their own sculptures to explore the difficulties they face whilst experiencing homelessness. Their sculptures have similarities to the work of Sean Henry, a local sculptor who is York Road Project's current Patron and whose work can be found in Woking Town Centre.
The workshops that took place throughout November provided the opportunity for individuals to experience art in various forms and to develop artistic talents that perhaps otherwise would have gone undiscovered. Their work is displayed on the First Floor corridor outside the Education Studio.
