Blog Create a "Living Sculpture" Whilst we're closed and working remotely, we’re all doing our best to stay positive and do what we can from home. Regrettably, there are many things we are unable to do remotely, like deliver our exciting cultural programme of workshops, talks, tours and – of course – exhibitions. However, this time away from the office is a really great opportunity for us to create loads of exciting new content for you that we haven’t been able to share before. Every week, we'll be setting challenges for our Lightbox team to complete in a bid to bring us together whilst working apart and most importantly, to stay creative. Last week, we challenged ourselves to create "living sculptures". Here's what we came up with: Senior Learning and Engagement Officer, Vicky, filmed this cute little ladybird on her daily walk. John, one of our lovely trustees, snapped this thirsty snake in the garden. Marketing and Communications Officer, Alex, utilises her photography skills to craft these creative compositions. Heather, our Head of Learning and Engagement, captured this paw-fect pup in her morning cuppa! Venue Hire Officer Mary created The Head-Scratcher, an homage to Rodin's The Thinker. Sammy, mini-me of Operations Director, Pru, posed perfectly on a table. Yvonne, Senior Visitor Experience Supervisor and Buyer, channels her inner winner in a power-walk to victory. Evidently, self-isolation is no mean feat for Schools Co-Ordinator Emily. Senior Marketing and Communications Officer, Sarah, fashions florals from malleable wire and pliers. Trustee Cherry-Anne and family posed around a striking orange centrepiece. Head of Finance Shirley snapped daughter Eva seemingly defying gravity as she floats through the forest! And finally, Danny, Building and Warehouse Officer, transformed into a clucky chicken guarding The Lightbox during closure. Now it's your turn! Use one of ours as inspiration or make your own. Tag us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to show us your living sculptures.
