Something new and rather special is coming to The Lightbox this year that will appeal to Surrey foodies looking for an extraordinary dining experience.

Celebrated chef Aneke Spacie has over 20 years of experience working in some of the world’s best Michelin-starred restaurants including Rainer Becker at Zuma, Mark Hix, Alan Bird at the Ivy and Alain Ducasse in New York. Known to her colleagues as ‘Michelin Mum’, she now lives in Woking and runs the new and much-anticipated Waters Edge restaurant at Heather Farm, offers cookery classes, and runs innovative Pop Up restaurants ‘Food by Aneke’ with the philosophy that ‘great food can be fun’.

An artistic space is the perfect setting for the next series of ‘Food by Aneke’ Pop Ups – we are pleased to announce that the first of these will be taking place at 7.30pm on Saturday 13 February with more dates to follow. The evening will get off to a bang with bubbles accompanied by canapes against the stunning backdrop of the exhibition ‘John Constable: Observing the Weather’. This will be followed by a bespoke 6 course tasting menu that will both surprise and delight. Previous Pop Up menus have included unique treats such as ‘Bembridge crab Scotch egg’, ‘Slow roasted free range pork belly served on a pink lady apple risotto’ and ‘Rhubarb panna cotta with ginger ice cream cones and space dusted cherry soup’.

Priced at £75 which includes all food and a glass of bubbles, ‘Food by Aneke’ at The Lightbox is sure to become a ‘must-go-to’ on any foodies list.
