These informal talks with Melanie Paice and Peter Scott will encourage discussion and debate that discuss a mixture of themes in art and the artists themselves. Melanie is an artist, art tutor, and lecturer and Peter is a guide and lecturer, they both have led tours at Tate Britain and Tate Modern for over 20 years.

Joaquin Sorolla was born in Valencia and showed his exceptional artistic talent at a very young age, exhibiting works at the annual national fine arts exhibition when in his late teens. He was accepted into the Academy of Fine Arts in Valencia aged 21, when one of his paintings was acquired by the Spanish Government.
