Social Realism

Social realism is an art movement that became prominent between the two world wars in response to the social and political turmoil and hardships of the period, but has its roots much earlier than this.

These talks from Melanie Paice and Laurence Shafe will discuss artists and artworks from current artists, back in time through to the 18th Century.
