The popular Poetry Day returns for its third year with free performance and open mic poetry throughout the day in Seasons Café. Performance Poet and author of the best-selling novel ‘Reception’ Robert Garnham will feature.

The poetry day is a mixture of appearances by well-known published poets and open-mic sessions from the public, hosted by Greg Freeman, a former newspaper sub-editor who is now news editor for the poetry website Write Out Loud. 'Bagni di Lucca', 'Learning by Heart', and 'The Butterflies of Yorkshire' are included in his debut pamphlet collection, Trainspotters, published by Indigo Dreams.
