Turner's Techniques in Watercolour

J.M.W. Turner used watercolour both as a medium for gathering information for his large oils and finished watercolours and for the sheer joy of using a portable and versatile painting medium in the landscape.

Join local artist Robin-Lee Hall for a painting workshop exploring Turner’s working methods in watercolour. We will look at his colour palette and various techniques he used to create a landscape. Using these methods we will paint a watercolour landscape inspired by paintings from the exhibition.

All materials provided.
