This exhibition creates a dialogue between suffragette embroideries created in Holloway Prison and Denise Jones' contemporary work.

Between 1911 and 1912 hundreds of suffragettes were sent to Holloway Prison for smashing windows. Whilst incarcerated, some of the women worked on small embroideries. Jones uses cloth, thread and material objects to create responses to these textiles.
