These informal talks with Melanie Paice and Peter Scott will encourage discussion and debate that discuss a mixture of themes in art and the artists themselves. Melanie is an artist, art tutor, and lecturer, and Peter is a guide and lecturer, they both have led tours at Tate Britain and Tate Modern for over 20 years.

Louise Bourgeois was a French-American artist, who during her exceedingly long career, produced sculptures, installations, paintings, and prints.  Her work explores a range of themes, including motherhood, insecurity, and patriarchal standards, much of which is connected to her own childhood. She has sometimes been described as the "reluctant hero of feminist art".
