Join us for an exclusive visit to see Sculptor, Julian Wild, who has offered to open his studio for a private tour, followed by refreshments. The artist will discuss his work, and recent and forthcoming projects, and guests will be able to see his personal collection of sculptures, preparatory maquettes and works on paper.

Julian Wild completed a Fine Arts Degree at Kingston University in 1995 and went on to work for Damien Hirst, "spraying the pills". It was during these years that Wild began to experiment with his own practice and started to cultivate his own style.

After leaving Hirst's studio, Wild began to work independently and quickly became fascinated by the use and meaning of different industrial materials, influences born out of his love of sculptors such as Anthony Caro and Donald Judd, who combined assemblage, metal casting and fabrication.

Over the last decade Wild has received increasing recognition, exhibiting at Chatsworth House Sotheby's, Modern Art Oxford, The Saatchi Gallery, Canary Wharf, and now permanently, at The Lightbox.
