The Lightbox, a regional gallery in Woking, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the delivery of the financial strategy and to monitor performance. The post is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours, working in a friendly, team-oriented charitable organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Finance Manager
Based at: The Lightbox, Woking, Surrey
Reports to: Director
Salary: £40,000 pro rata
Hours: 1.5 – 2 days per week

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • To ensure the provision of consistent, robust and expert financial advice to the Director, senior colleagues and the Trustees
  • To follow the well-established financial planning and management system and act as the lead interface between management and Trustees on financial matters.
  • To ensure The Lightbox has appropriate, functioning ICT systems
  • To act as Company Secretary and be responsible for liaison with the Charity Commission and Companies House
  • To ensure The Lightbox is in compliance with charity, tax and other regulatory matters
