After a gluttenous Christmas, many of us will make a promise to change a bad habit - perhaps by ditching dessert or hitting the gym. At The Lightbox, we like to think of New Year's resolutions as opportunities to gain a skill and learn something new!
We have always believed that art has the power to make you feel good. Participating in creative activities reduces stress and allows the mind to focus and relax.
Knowing this, why not join one of our adult workshops or a free drawing session around the building?
In this free two-hour session aimed at adults of all abilities, you'll set off into the galleries for some indulgent reflective time to draw inspiration from the outstanding collections on display.
Sessions run every other Friday from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Advance booking required.
From tapestry weaving to painting in egg tempera, discover your creative side or broaden existing skills in a range of artist-led workshops and craft sessions.
