To coincide with her solo exhibition, ‘The Luminous Brush’, join artist Robin-Lee Hall for a full day workshop learning how to paint in the medium of egg tempera.
This workshop will run from 10.30am - 4pm, with a break for lunch.
Egg tempera is a type of fast-drying, long-lasting paint used in the art of ancient civilizations, as well as the medieval and renaissance periods.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to make paint, mix colour and how to handle the medium. This will be applied to developing a small work, either from life or source material.
There will also be an opportunity to have a short tour of the corresponding exhibition.
Some drawing and painting experience would be useful, but is not required.
Suitable for adults or 16+ with an accompanying adult.
All materials provided, although if you prefer to use your own watercolour brushes, please bring them with you.
£80 for adults
£72 for members
