Relaxed Opening

Our Relaxed Opening is a quieter hour which provides a calm atmosphere in which to explore our galleries, sensitive to the need of visitors with any communication or sensory conditions.

The relaxed hour takes place on the last Sunday of the month from 11am – 12 noon, during our usual opening hours.

Siblings, families, carers and friends are welcome. If you would like a slightly quieter entrance then we recommend the back entrance, which you can find through the car park. You can find our Visual Story on our website which provides visitors with a visual insight into what you can expect on your visit, written in clear language with pictures in a storybook format.
