Our Café has a beautiful canal-side courtyard which is surrounded by vibrant and fragrant Jekyll inspired flower borders and sculptures from The Ingram Collection. In summer it is the perfect place to enjoy the sunshine, you wouldn’t know that you are still in town! For those slightly cooler days, we have plenty of comfortable seating inside in our contemporary Café, including sofas where our visitors can often be seen relaxing with a coffee and a good book. In 2015 we were delighted to be Highly Commended in the Surrey Food and Drink Awards Tea/Coffee Shop category.
We pride ourselves on supporting local business by using as much local produce as we can. Our current local suppliers include:
Café Maison – Freshly roasted to order in Cobham.
Marimba – Hot chocolate made from real flakes of hot chocolate from The Sudbury Chocolatier.
The Garden Cider Company – Delicious Cider made in Guildford from unwanted apples.
Orchard Farm Chilled Foods – A family run farm in Cobham.
Boz’s Fruit and Veg – Based in Church Path in Woking, this is where we get our salad, fruit and veg from.
Le Papillon Patisserie
Brown Bag crisps
Kokoh chocolate bars
Everytime you use our Café you are not only helping to support out local suppliers but also helping to support The Lightbox as a charity. Find out more about the work we do in the community here.
Every month, we pick a favourite supplier in our Café to tell our visitors about. This month, we have been enjoying the delicious Café Maison’s coffee. Roasted to order in Cobham, the coffee arrives within two to three days of roasting so is always lovely and fresh! Why not try one of their delicious blends in The Lightbox Café today?
Pick up a loyalty card and for every six hot drinks purchased, you will get your seventh free! If you don’t have time to enjoy your drink in our Café, we can make it to take away.
