Volunteer Role Description

Title: Marketing and PR Intern

Reporting to: Marketing & Communications Officer and Marketing Assistant

Period of Internship: 3 months, with possibility of extension by mutual agreement

Time Commitment: Two days (14 hours) per week 10am – 5pm

Expenses: Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed

Deadline: Wed 28 February 5pm

Volunteer Role 

This is an opportunity for someone seeking practical marketing and PR experience in the arts and heritage sector. Based in our busy office, you will provide support to the Marketing & Communications Officer and Marketing Assistant and will be involved in the day-to-day running of our popular museum and gallery. This voluntary role may suit a recent graduate or someone seeking to work in arts and heritage marketing.

The ideal person will have excellent communication skills, written and oral, and be well organised.  You will need to work well under pressure and to remain calm in a busy office environment. We are also looking for someone who is flexible, has a positive approach and enjoys being part of a small team.
