The Lightbox Shop

Only two minutes’ walk from the bustling town centre, The Lightbox Shop is a hidden gem in the heart of Woking. Showcasing a carefully curated selection of locally-sourced arts, crafts, jewellery, books and gifts, the Shop ethos ensures support for local designers and makers whilst offering our visitors items you won’t find anywhere on the high street.

The Lightbox Shop regularly refreshes its selection with the seasons. By treating yourself to a piece of jewellery, purchasing that one-off designer piece as a gift or buying a memento of an exhibition, not only do you get a truly special item, but every purchase helps to support us as an independent charity, and supports local artists, our gallery and the invaluable art projects we work on within the community.

Just a Card

From humorous and droll designs to stunning art prints and illustrations, our selection of occasion cards is simply second-to-none. We are proud supporters of the Just a Card campaign, founded by designer Sarah Hamilton and supported by The Design Trust. This aims to encourage visitors at independent shops to recognise the importance that every small purchase makes in helping to ensure the sustainability of the arts and small businesses. So put a smile on a loved one’s face knowing that you’re helping to do your bit supporting our creative community.

The Second Hand Book Shop

Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do at The Lightbox, and what better way to switch off and relax than curled up with a good book? Nestled under the staircase, browse an array of fiction and non-fiction titles alongside a selection of arts and craft books in our Second Hand Book Shop.

If you have any books that you would like to donate to our Second Hand Book Shop, all you need to do is bring them in on your next visit. All book donations and purchases directly support The Lightbox charity.
