Sophie Brogden is a printmaker, her highly detailed lino cut prints inspired by seasonal flowers and plants. Sophie captures the beauty and essence of flowers and foliage in their natural form, preserved individually in each print. Her signature ‘chatter’ lines in the background capture movement and life and are unique to each print.
Fran McCaskill was born in London and trained as a graphic designer. She moved to Surrey and discovered fused glass. All her pieces are hand cut, painted and then fused, she also uses recycled window glass in her work.
Anthea Shankla works with paper pulps, natural elements, textiles and various ephemera to create images which are full of coloured layers and textured surfaces. She is always on the lookout for the next bit of inspiration - be it local to Surrey or in more exotic locations where she is forever collecting the ‘little somethings’ that might just appear somewhere in the next piece.
Chive Vases started in 2004, growing to become a global supplier of quirky flower vases and ceramic décor. Their use of sculptural form is particularly popular with museum and gallery retail and have even featured in Vogue magazine.
Shirley Watson is a printmaker using lino to produce reduction prints. She loves to use colour and shapes found in nature. Her recent works have been created from walks in her local area where she has explored and discovered inspiration in the landscape. The continually changing weather and seasons are reflected in the plants, colour, light and shadows of familiar views.
