    The Lightbox Employment Practices

The Lightbox gallery and museum's aim is for staff and volunteers to be representative of all sections of our visitors and society and for each staff member and volunteer to feel respected and able to give their best. We are committed to ensuring that all job applicants, employees and volunteers are treated equally and fairly by:

    • Supporting staff and volunteers with on-the-job training and sector knowledge that they may not have upon joining.
    • Encouraging flexible working arrangements as far as possible.
    • Looking at competencies and skills rather than academic qualifications or sector exclusive experience.

The Lightbox are committed to a positive workplace culture based on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and this includes our recruitment process.  Flexible working will be considered for the successful candidate.  If you have any specific adjustments you may require to help you access either the application process or at interview, or you have a detailed access rider, please contact Rebecca Labram, our retained HR consultant on [email protected] for support.
