Grief-Tending Gathering: An Immersive Experience
Facilitated by Rohan Narse & Selena King
Duration: 90 minutes followed by an interactive space for Q&A for 30 minutes
A time dedicated to grief-tending, honouring the sacred space of sorrow and remembrance, both personal and shared. This work follows the guidance of our teachers: Francis Weller, particularly as expressed in The Wild Edge of Sorrow, and the care practices developed and held by Sophy Banks. It also draws from the ritual and ceremonial ground of the Bwiti tradition, as shared by our guide and teacher, Okomo Minko.
We will gather on Sunday 14th June, entering a space held with care, warmth, and attention. Through gentle practices and shared time, we will explore the layers of grief; our own, and those we carry collectively.
You are welcome to come as you are, with whatever you carry. Although we will have chairs to sit on, please bring your own or a sheepskin for personal use if that helps.
This is a free workshop but please book in advance. It does not include entry to the 'Everything we love we will lose' exhibition, you would need to purchase a day pass for access to galleries.
