William Lai: Reflections on the Psyche 13 June 2023 -25 June 2023

William Lai’s work explores deeply emotional and creative imagery, drawing from his fascination with notions of the ancient and contemporary psyche. Reflecting on his vast life experiences, he found numerous and innate resources that he could tap into through artmaking; forms he could construct with flow and ease. The highly illustrative and imaginative works relish in contradictions and juxtapose shape, colour and form to investigate the rhythms of creativity.
