Vote for your favourite Local Family Directory Good Cause to receive a share of £500!

Debbie Conibere, Editor of Local Family Directory North West Surrey runs the Good Cause campaign every, here she tells us why:

In celebration of being an editor for these past 11 years in this wonderful community I wanted to say “thank you” to all those who read, advertise and distribute my family publication by donating at total of £2,500 for a total of 5 editions starting with the Nov 2014 edition to 15 local registered charities.  All the advertisers are donating 5% of profits from their rates to be shared between the three Good Causes.

Voting for the Winter Edition 3 Good Causes starts on 1 November 2015 and voting closes at 12 midnight on 18 January 2016.

Voting for The Lightbox will mean helping us to fund our free family workshops that we run in the school holidays. We are more than a gallery and believe that art is for everyone and can be an incredibly beneficial outlet. As well as our busy schedule of workshops for families and children we also work with several community partners to provide arts programmes for people living with dementia, learning disabilities and the homeless. The best part of working with any group is to see a person’s confidence soar and the pride evident in their faces when they have created a piece of art that is shown in the gallery.
