Young Creatives Workshops The Young Creatives programme is open to 11-16 year olds and gives young people the chance to explore art in various forms whilst also meeting creative professionals and peers. The projects often relate to the exhibitions on display at The Lightbox and they explore the processes and techniques needed to master different types of art. Sessions range from working with a professional artist to create artworks which are exhibited in the public galleries, to working with the Learning and Exhibitions teams to learn how to present their own themed display. The Lightbox is an Arts Award Centre, so Young Creatives can also work towards a Bronze or Silver Arts Award. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, get in touch with your inner artist and have something unique to add to your CV. We believe in offering equal opportunities and ensuring art is accessible to all. Bursary places are available to cover the cost of the workshop.
